After a string of four wins, Garber's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Balko Bison by a score of 51-48. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Bison are ranked 94th).

Garber's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Balko, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Garber won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cimarron at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cimarron is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 76.9 points per game this season. As for Balko, they will square off against Goodwell at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
