St. James was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 21-8 to the Sullivan Eagles. On the bright side, the eight- run effort marked the Tigers' highest-scoring contest to date.

JV Meurer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Jesse Hudson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4.

St. James' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Sullivan, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, St. James will venture away from home to face off against Vienna at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sullivan, they will welcome St. Clair at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
