Volleyball Recap: Clearwater Central Catholic Starts Season with Loss at Home

Clearwater Central Catholic unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Carrollwood Day Patriots on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Marauders in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

While Clearwater Central Catholic was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clearwater Central Catholic will welcome Indian Rocks Christian at 6:30 p.m. on the 28th. As for Carrollwood Day, they will host Poinciana Christian Preparatory at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
