Football Game Preview: C. Milton Wright Mustangs vs. Elkton Golden Elks

C. Milton Wright is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Elkton is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Mustangs will host the Golden Elks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (C. Milton Wright 11.5, Elkton 7.2) so any points scored will be well earned.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times C. Milton Wright and Bel Air have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Mustangs fell 21-17 to the Bobcats.

Meanwhile, Elkton strolled past SEED with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 31-17.

C. Milton Wright's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Elkton, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

C. Milton Wright beat Elkton 24-14 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Golden Elks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
