 Hamilton scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  in their second game  on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Beardstown Tigers as the Hamilton Titans  made off with  a  17-10 win. The  victory was just what Hamilton needed coming off of  a  10-0 defeat in their prior  contest.
  Grayson Conkright made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Conkright has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. Conkright was even better at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Gage Scott, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Jakeb Martens, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Hamilton is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record  this season. As for Beardstown,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-5.
 Hamilton will be playing at home against Astoria/VIT at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hamilton is facing Astoria/VIT at the right time seeing as Astoria/VIT is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak. As for Beardstown, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Quincy Notre Dame at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The last three games Quincy Notre Dame has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
