Basketball Recap: Islesboro Central Takes a Loss

Islesboro Central lost against Richmond back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Islesboro Central Eagles came up short against the Richmond Bobcats, falling 44-24.

Islesboro Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Richmond, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Islesboro Central has already played their next game (against Forest Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Richmond will venture away from home to take on Winthrop at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
