Basketball Recap: Landon Brunicardi Key Part of a Team Effort in Eagles Win

Grove City Christian won the last time they faced Millersport and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Grove City Christian Eagles took down the Millersport Lakers 59-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Grove City Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Brunicardi, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds. Those 17 points gave Brunicardi a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadunn Harris, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 17 points.

Grove City Christian's record now sits at 2-0. As for Millersport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Grove City Christian will welcome Wellington School at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Millersport, they will venture away from home to challenge Fisher Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
