FBCHA hadn't done well against Episcopal recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Eagles skirted past the Knights 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Melody Coleman paced FBCHA's offense, picking up 11 kills. Coleman got some help from Izabella Pham and her 11 assists. Isabela Dodd and Leah Moore kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

FBCHA's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. FBCHA will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Concordia Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Episcopal, they will venture away from home to face off against Needville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
