Chinle had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the Ganado Hornets 17-3. Considering the Wildcats have won nine games by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Hage Tsosie, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kennon Sorrell, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI.

Chinle pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Ganado, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
