Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Toll Gate). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mt. Hope Huskies a 17-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Titans needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The victory got Toll Gate back to even at 4-4. As for Mt. Hope, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Toll Gate will be playing at home against East Greenwich at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Avengers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mt. Hope, they will head out on the road to square off against Scituate at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
