Basketball Recap: Brynn Settje Key Part of a Team Effort in Patriots Win

There's no place like home for Clarkson/Leigh, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They snuck past the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers with a 46-42 win on Thursday. For the Patriots, this counts as revenge for the 53-46 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Clarkson/Leigh's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brynn Settje, who posted 13 points and four steals. What's more, Settje also racked up four assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Izzy Hollatz was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

The win got Clarkson/Leigh back to even at 2-2. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarkson/Leigh will take on David City in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bancroft-Rosalie will take on Walthill in a holiday battle at on Tuesday.
