Person is 1-9 against Eastern Alamance since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Rockets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Person is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
Person will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Williams on Tuesday. The Rockets blew past the Bulldogs 24-7. The Rockets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

 Madison Snead

Madison Snead was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and three doubles. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Annie Adcock was another key player, scoring four runs while going 3-for-4.
Snead wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Person kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 23 hits. The Rockets are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Eastern Alamance entered their tilt with Southern Alamance on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 6-1.
Delani Straughan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Eastern Alamance let Kinley Henderson and Kayden Manning run wild. Henderson went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI, while Manning scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylea Warren, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Eastern Alamance's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Person, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Person suffered a grim 17-1 defeat to Eastern Alamance in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Rockets have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
