Softball Recap: Quantico Takes a Loss

The Quantico Warriors lost 31-2 to the Grace Christian School Kings on Thursday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riley Nicholson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in two of her three plate appearances with four stolen bases and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Marissa Bleigh, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Quantico's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Grace Christian School, the victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Quantico will head out to take on Seton at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Grace Christian School, they will venture away from home to square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
