Marion County's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Signal Mountain Eagles 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Marion County got a massive performance out of Brynna Thomasson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Kaylee McGowan was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

Marion County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .560. They are 7-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Marion County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Signal Mountain, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
