Softball Recap: Shelbyville Central Takes a Loss

Shelbyville Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-0 to the Columbia Central Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on April 1st.

Shelbyville Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Columbia Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelbyville Central will welcome Spring Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Loretto at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
