            Box Elder was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They were  outmatched by the Brighton Bengals and fell  69-33. The Bees were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  41-12.

 Despite the  defeat, Box Elder had strong showings from  Emma Nelson, who  posted eight  points, and  Jocelyn Vranes, who  had 11 points and five  boards. Those eight  points gave  Nelson a new career-high.
 Brighton was led to victory by  Sophie Nielsen and  Olivia Stephens.  Nielsen  went 8 of 13 on her way to 20 points in addition to seven  rebounds and three  steals, while  Stephens  went 7 of 14 on her way to 15 points and three  steals. Nielsen is trending in the right direction considering she's  improved her point production for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lucy Chin, who  put up ten points and four  steals.
Box Elder's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brighton, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
