Perry Hall is 2-8 against Dulaney since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. Perry Hall will host Dulaney at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
While Perry Hall's victory against Sparrows Point wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Perry Hall sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over Sparrows Point on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Pointers: they've now won four in a row.

Savannah Carl made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Those hits marked the first that she got this season.
In other batting news, Shalimar Lopez was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Amber Deems was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
Perry Hall was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Dulaney entered their tilt with Catonsville on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Comets. The two-run effort marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Madison Schupple made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Schupple was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kimani Dennis, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Dulaney pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Perry Hall, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Perry Hall came out on top in a nail-biter against Dulaney when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 8-7. Will Perry Hall repeat their success, or does Dulaney has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
