Volleyball Recap: Oakfield Comes Up Short

Oakfield lost against Weyauwega-Fremont back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Oaks fell just short of the Warhawks by a score of 2-1. The Oaks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Oakfield still got an impressive performance from Lily Collien, who had 22 digs and two assists.

Oakfield's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Weyauwega-Fremont, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.

Coming up, Oakfield will challenge Dodgeland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Weyauwega-Fremont, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Waupaca on the 20th.
