Basketball Game Preview: Mountain House Mustangs vs. Sacramento Dragons

Two dominant guards in Shamar Jones and SirMarius Jones are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Mountain House Mustangs will be taking part in a tournament against the Sacramento Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Wednesday, Mountain House got the win against Oakdale by a conclusive 66-42. Mountain House has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Mountain House's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Coldin Parker, who posted 13 points and three steals. Jones was another key player, putting up 13 points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Sacramento didn't have too much trouble with Cornerstone Christian on Saturday as they won 73-57.

Mountain House's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-9. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.7 points. As for Sacramento, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
