Softball Recap: Stryker Takes a Loss

Stryker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-6 to the Hamilton Marines. On the bright side, the six- run performance marked the Panthers' highest-scoring contest to date.

Stryker saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addalee Fulk, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI and one double. Abby Fulk also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Stryker's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hamilton, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stryker will challenge Pettisville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Blackbirds have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games. As for Hamilton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Garrett at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
