Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peebles). They put the hurt on Western with a sharp 8-1 win on Thursday. It was an even better day for Colyn Sims as he scored three goals for his team.

Peebles now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Western, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-11-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peebles will square off against Hillsboro at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Western, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Glenwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
