After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Poteet, Cole was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Randolph Ro-Hawks, sneaking past 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Ro-Hawks: they've now won eight in a row.
Sophia Flores spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits.
