Basketball Recap: Pratt Comes Up Short

If Pratt was feeling good fresh off their 50-18 takedown of Russell on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Greenbacks fell 51-46 to the Great Bend Panthers on Friday. The Greenbacks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Pratt now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Great Bend, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5.

Pratt and Great Bend will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Greenbacks see the court they'll take on Haven on January 9, 2026. As for Great Bend, their break will end when they face South on January 6, 2026.
