Softball Recap: Nazareth Academy Takes a Loss

Nazareth Academy lost against Springfield Township back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Nazareth Academy fell 16-11 to Springfield Township.

Keiragh Krzywicki and Emily Richer stepped up to the plate in a big way. Krzywicki went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles, while Richer went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Casey Derouin was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Nazareth Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Springfield Township, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Nazareth Academy will take on St. Hubert Catholic for Girls at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springfield Township, they are taking a road trip to square off against Abington at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
