Volleyball Game Preview: Andover Trojans vs. Northwest Grizzlies

The Andover Trojans will face off against the Northwest Grizzlies on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Andover and Andover Central, and Andover Central kept the tradition alive. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Jaguars on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Northwest came up short against Bishop Carroll on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12.

Andover's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Northwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.

Andover was able to grind out a solid victory over Northwest when the teams last played back in September of 2023, winning 2-0. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
