Rowan Brown posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

Brown's strong effort led South Glens Falls over Glens Falls and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are 8-1 against the Black Bears going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
