Recap: Charlton County Indians vs. Brantley County Herons
The Charlton County Indians were the 85-47 winner over the Brantley County Herons when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Charlton County fell just short of Brantley County by a score of 42-39.
Despite the loss, Charlton County still got an impressive performance from Ja'mari Hamilton, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. Hamilton scored a full 30.8% of Charlton County's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Trevan Cobb was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Charlton County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Brantley County, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charlton County will take on Pierce County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brantley County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Atkinson County at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st. Atkinson County is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
