Basketball Recap: Argyle Snaps 11-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Argyle was the 54-41 winner over Denton when they last played one another on January 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Argyle Eagles fell to the Denton Broncos 38-34.

Denton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hudson Torres led the charge by putting up 11 points. Jacory Singh was another key player, posting ten points.

Argyle's loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-16. As for Denton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Ryan the next time they take the court. Argyle will host Ryan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Denton will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th.
