Baseball Recap: Byhalia Starts Season with Win Against North Panola

Byhalia had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the North Panola Cougars by a score of 10-7 on Friday. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Jeremiah Hill was excellent, getting on base in three of his seven plate appearances with three stolen bases. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacobi Burnett, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases.

Coming up, Byhalia is taking a road trip to take on West Memphis Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Panola, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars duke it out with the Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
