Softball Recap: Normal University Pioneers vs. Williamsville Bullets
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tolono Unity, Normal University was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They skirted past the Williamsville Bullets 7-5. The Pioneers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Emmerson Steward was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That run marked the first that she scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Jones, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
