Volleyball Recap: Lawrence Lions vs. Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers

Lawrence managed to slip by Gardner-Edgerton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Trailblazers on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered against the Trailblazers since October 10, 2019.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20, 25-16.

Reese Schesser was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Lawrence is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Gardner-Edgerton, they moved to 3-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
