Basketball Recap: Eric Warrick's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mt. Diablo over Alhambra

Mt. Diablo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat. They lost 72-51 to the Alhambra Bulldogs. The Red Devils lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 79-35 score last time.

Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eric Warrick, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacory Brown, who had 12 points.

Mt. Diablo's loss dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Alhambra, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-13.

Mt. Diablo has already played their next game, a 60-49 defeat against San Lorenzo on the 7th. As for Alhambra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-54 loss against Ygnacio Valley on the 6th.
