Eustis lost a heartbreaker the last time they played East Ridge, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Eustis Panthers were the clear victor by a 12-1 margin over the East Ridge Knights on Friday. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Wyatt Whetro tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Eustis got a massive performance out of Wyatt Cumbie, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Cumbie a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Jabriel Rivera Caraballo, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Eustis and bumps their season record up to 10-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.5 runs. As for East Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eustis will face off against Umatilla at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Umatilla's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Eustis' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for East Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
