Volleyball Recap: Gulf Coast HEAT vs. Berkeley Prep Buccaneers
Gulf Coast HEAT had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.
Gulf Coast HEAT couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Berkeley Prep a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 35-33, 25-12, 25-20.
Adam Rummings paced Gulf Coast HEAT's offense, picking up five kills. Rummings got some help from Aaron Light and his five assists.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gulf Coast HEAT will head out to challenge Venice at 6:00 p.m. on March 11th. As for Berkeley Prep, they are taking a road trip to face off against Universal Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
