Moriarty has gone a perfect 3-0 against Aztec recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pintos are taking a road trip to take on the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Aztec took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Moriarty, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row, Moriarty turned things around against Estancia on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bears.

The win didn't come easy: Estancia scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 25-18, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Aztec came up short against Grants on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 20-25, 25-16, 25-22.

Moriarty's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Aztec, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Moriarty took their win against Aztec in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pintos since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
