Killingly had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 44-15 win over the Ledyard Colonels. The Trailbazers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by 28 points or more this season.

Hayden Allard had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 229 yards and four scores on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Sumner, who punched in two rushing scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Killingly was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 264 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 157 rushing yards in seven consecutive matchups.

Although Ledyard took the loss, they still got scores from Calvin J Casavant and Titus Streckfuss.

Killingly's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Ledyard, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.

Coming up, Killingly will welcome Hand at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Trailbazers surely won't give up without a fight. Ledyard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
