Basketball Game Preview: Providence Grove Patriots vs. Randleman Tigers + How To Watch

Providence Grove hasn't had much luck against Randleman recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Patriots are taking a road trip to face off against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m.

On Monday, Providence Grove was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 56-52 to Chatham Charter.

Providence Grove might have lost, but man, Andrew Thomas was a machine: he shot 56% from the field en route to 23 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Will Dabbs, who posted 16 points along with eight boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, Randleman posted their closest win since January 18th on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-47 victory over Southern Guilford. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Randleman's win came from a few key players Providence Grove will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jackson Cook, who earned nine points and three steals. Those three steals gave him a new career-high. Trey Burnett was another key player, putting up ten points.

Providence Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. Randleman has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

Providence Grove came up short against Randleman when the teams last played last Wednesday, falling 65-59. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
