Volleyball Game Preview: L.C. Bird Skyhawks vs. Meadowbrook Monarchs

L.C. Bird is on an eight-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Meadowbrook a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The L.C. Bird Skyhawks will be playing at home against the Meadowbrook Monarchs at 5:45 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

L.C. Bird lost 3-0 to Cosby on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-20, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Meadowbrook came up short against Prince George on Thursday, falling 3-0.

L.C. Bird's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Meadowbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Everything went L.C. Bird's way against Meadowbrook in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as L.C. Bird made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Skyhawks repeat their success, or do the Monarchs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
