Football Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon lost against MFL MarMac back in October of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions were dealt a 47-6 defeat at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for MFL MarMac, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Lisbon will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Rebels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for MFL MarMac, they will square off against Camanche at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.6 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
