Basketball Recap: Holton Comes Up Short

Holton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 79-24 defeat at the hands of the Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders. The Red Devils lost against the Crusaders in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 57-40 score last time.

Holton's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Muskegon Catholic Central, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.

Holton has already played their next contest (against Crossroads Charter Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Muskegon Catholic Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Wellspring Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
