Soccer Game Preview: New Designs University Park vs. University Prep Value

The New Designs University Park Cardinals are taking a road trip to challenge the University Prep Value Wolves at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. New Designs University Park is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

New Designs University Park will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Animo Robinson, who they had gone 0-7-2 against in their nine prior meetings. New Designs University Park skirted past Animo Robinson 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Cardinals were the better team in the second half.

Luis Solares and Adrian Ramos scored both of New Designs University Park's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, University Prep Value waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Trojans. Wolves found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Erwin Reyes and Bryan Garcia were both handed yellow cards.

University Prep Value is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which somehow still isn't as good as their 9-1-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those six contests. As for New Designs University Park, their record is now 7-2-3.

New Designs University Park suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to University Prep Value in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can New Designs University Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
