Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Englewood). They walked away with a 36-28 victory over the Parker Braves on Thursday. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 52-22 loss the last time these two teams met.

Englewood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tiarra Redding out in front who posted seven points in addition to 13 rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was Moriah Bellamy, who had 11 points.

Englewood's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Parker, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Englewood will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Baldwin at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Parker, they and Fernandina Beach will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
