Basketball Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short

Clayton lost against Glenwood City back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Clayton Bears took a blow against the Glenwood City Hilltoppers, falling 61-30. The matchup marked the Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glenwood City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mitchel Main, who posted ten points and four steals. Tyler Harrington was another key player, putting up nine points.

This is the second loss in a row for Clayton and nudges their season record down to 9-8. As for Glenwood City, they pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Clayton has already played their next game (against Bruce), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Glenwood City, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 63-41 win against Boyceville on the 13th.
