Basketball Recap: Mendenhall Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After a string of five wins, Mendenhall's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Mendenhall's defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-2. As for Forrest County Agricultural, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Mendenhall Tigers duke it out with the Brookhaven Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brookhaven will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mendenhall surely won't give up without a fight. As for Forrest County Agricultural, they will challenge Tylertown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
