Soccer Recap: Pleasant Grove Starts Season with Victory at Home

Pleasant Grove gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spanish Fork Dons, sneaking past 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2016.

Mauricio Rondan and Ramses Alvarez scored both of Pleasant Grove's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Pleasant Grove didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Pine View on the 6th. As for Spanish Fork, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Hillcrest on the 7th.
