Preview: Bracken Christian Warriors vs. First Baptist Academy Eagles
The Bracken Christian Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the First Baptist Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, it was close, but Bracken Christian sidestepped Gloria Deo Academy for a 2-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bracken Christian.
Meanwhile, First Baptist Academy took their match on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 65-36 victory over Lifegate Christian.
First Baptist Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Timothy De La Rosa, who scored 17 points, and Matthew Levine, who scored 17 points. Levine continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathanael Asare, who scored 6 points.
Bracken Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for First Baptist Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Everything went Bracken Christian's way against First Baptist Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2021 as Bracken Christian made off with a 58-36 victory.
