Carroll County scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the Christiansburg Blue Demons 57-51. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Demons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-33 back in December of 2024.

Several Cavaliers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Callie Harris, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Harris a new career-high in assists (five). Another player making a difference was Cc Mitchell, who went 6-for-8 to rack up 13 points.

Carroll County's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Christiansburg, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Looking ahead, Carroll County will challenge Radford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christiansburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 71-32 defeat against Blacksburg on the 18th.
