While Scituate's victory against Hope wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans pulled ahead with a 7-6 photo finish over the Blue Wave on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Blue Wave: they've now won four in a row.

Aiden Grover threw for 70 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. John Rubiano was his top target, picking up 68 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Drake Dumont rushed for 33 yards.

Several Blue Wave players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christopher Martinez, who rushed for 118 yards.

Scituate's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Hope, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Scituate has already played their next matchup, a 21-7 win against Smithfield on the 7th. As for Hope, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 47-6 defeat against Narragansett on the 7th.
