Pavilion had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Keshequa on Saturday. The Golden Gophers put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 15-7 victory. The Golden Gophers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Pavilion has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Keshequa, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Pavilion is taking a road trip to take on Wayland-Cohocton at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Keshequa, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Haverling at 4:30 p.m.
