Randolph hadn't done well against Hondo recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Ro-Hawks walked away with a 5-1 win over the Owls. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Ro-Hawks as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Randolph's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Hondo, they moved to 21-6-1 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Randolph does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hondo, they will challenge Goliad on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Owls surely won't give up without a fight.
